were racing and sell both cars. I don't think there could be a law that broad. I've had cops pull me over before and "tell" me I was speeding when I knew DMAN well I wasn't. If I had just capitulated I would have gotten a ticket. I asked him how he knew I was speeding(which I was wasn't) and he said "I don't have to tell you." and I said "show me your radar with my speed" and he said he didn't have to, etc. He was sitting on the side of the road so he couldn't say he paced me. Basically, he was totally full of shit and was going to write me a ticket for over 80mph in a 70 when I wasn't speeding. There was no-one in front of me or behind me for 100's of yards, so it's not even like he was radaring traffic and picked me. He was 100% lying. Anyway, since it was all on camera and audio from his car and he was lying I guess he decided not to try to write me a ticket as I probably could have gotten a lawyer and sued the crap out of the department. He didn't even give me a warning, so you really know he was full of crap. Anyway, it goes to show that if a cop would do something like that, then for $15,000+ a pop for impounding cars they'd be doing it all day long.
